DESCRIPTION

Inspired by the harmonically rich tones of boutique amps, the Silk Drive transcends the traditional "amp-in-a-box" concept, offering a highly versatile valve overdrive pedal. Featuring an all-analog signal path and Nutube technology, it delivers authentic boost and overdrive tones with the responsive feel of a real tube amp. Internally boosted voltage ensures increased headroom and dynamic range, while the integrated OLED display provides a real-time oscilloscope view, showing exactly how your signal is being affected, whether the pedal is active or bypassed.

The Silk Drive offers three distinct output modes: STANDARD, PREAMP, and CAB-SIM. In STANDARD mode, you can transform your existing guitar rig by adding amp-like overdrive, while PREAMP mode is perfect for using the pedal as a line-level preamp when recording directly into an audio interface. CAB-SIM mode provides an analog cabinet simulation, making it ideal for direct recording or live performance without the need for an actual speaker cab. In each mode, the all-analog design, coupled with the active EQ controls, allows for precise tone shaping to suit any musical environment.

Additionally, the Channel Link feature enables seamless chaining of two or more Valvenergy pedals via the Link jack. Using a standard 1/8” stereo cable links two pedals, while a stereo 1/8” splitter enables you to link up to four pedals. This allows you to switch between channels on your guitar setup with ease, turning one pedal on while bypassing the others just like switching channels on a guitar amp.
