The Blackstar St. James 100 Head redefines what a professional 100-watt tube amp can be—ultra-lightweight, sonically flexible, and equipped for the modern stage and studio. At just a fraction of the weight of traditional 100W heads, the St. James 100 delivers uncompromising tone and power thanks to an innovative design and premium tube configuration: 3 x ECC83 preamp valves, and switchable/mixable 2 x 6L6 and 2 x EL34 power valves. This unique design lets players tailor the power section to suit their preferred tonal characteristics—American punch or British growl—all in one amp.

With four fully footswitchable channels and six voicing options, the St. James 100 provides an expansive tonal palette, from sparkling cleans to saturated overdrives and everything in between. A continuously variable power reduction feature allows seamless attenuation from full power down to just 5%, delivering cranked-amp tone at any volume level. Built-in studio-quality reverb, a flexible effects loop (with series/parallel and level switching), and extensive connectivity—USB audio, XLR D.I., and CabRig DSP cabinet simulation—make this head an all-in-one solution for stage, studio, and silent practice.
