The Blackstar HT-5R MKIII is a powerful yet compact 5-watt tube amplifier designed to offer the warmth and dynamic response of a classic valve amp, with enhanced features for modern musicians. This versatile combo amp is perfect for home use, studio recording, or small gigs, delivering punchy overdrive, sparkling cleans, and everything in between. Featuring a unique push-pull power amp design with an ECC83 preamp valve and a 12BH7 power amp valve, the HT-5R MKIII offers rich, responsive tones and excellent headroom at lower volumes.

With two footswitchable channels (Clean and Overdrive), each with its own voicing switch, this amp gives you a wide range of tonal possibilities, from pristine clarity to saturated rock tones. The power reduction feature allows you to drop the wattage to 0.5 watts for even quieter practice or recording. The USB-C audio output and XLR D.I. output make it easy to capture high-quality sound directly into your recording setup. Coupled with Blackstar's CabRig DSP cabinet simulation and a newly voiced studio-quality reverb, the HT-5R MKIII ensures that your sound stays professional and versatile. A single 12” Blackstar-designed speaker completes the package, offering full-bodied sound with plenty of projection.
